Police in Bandar Lampung City are still investigating the death of a policemen found dead in his home in Langkapura subdistrict, Bandar Lampung, on Monday evening.

The deceased police officer, identified as Chief Brig. HS served at the East Teluk Betung Sub-precinct Police, under the jurisdiction of Bandar Lampung City Police.
Authorities promptly arrived at the scene after receiving a report from the family.
Lampung Police chief spokesman Sr. Comr. Yuni Iswandari confirmed the tragic incident.
"That's correct, [the deceased was] a member of the Bandar Lampung City Police," Yuni said over the phone, as quoted by kompas.com.
Authorities are currently investigating to determine the cause of death.
The city police’ Indonesia Automatic Fingerprint Identification System (Inafis) team investigated the scene.
Yuni urged the public to refrain from speculation until official examination results are released.
"We ask everyone to respect the privacy of the deceased's family. We will provide further information once the investigation is complete," she said.
HS’s body has been taken to Bhayangkara Police Hospital for an autopsy.
Bandar Lampung City Police chief Sr. Comr. Alfret Jacob Tilukay, however, said that the police officer ended his own life, as reported by tribunnews.com.
South Teluk Betung Sub-precinct Police chief Comr. Enrico Donald Sidauruk also confirmed that there were signs of suicide at the scene.
"Yes, the incident did occur and we are still investigating it. We will convey the new information,” he said.
