A spokesperson for the South Jakarta District Court said the three documents were issued on Aug. 20, the day the Constitutional Court upheld the candidate age requirements to run in local elections, which effectively barred Kaesang from running in the race.

As House lawmakers moved on Thursday to throw out their proposal to revise the 2016 Regional Elections Law, which would have effectively allowed Jokowi's youngest son to contest the November polls, netizens have slammed Kaesang's wife Erina for posting online pictures showing the couple's lavish spending during their ongoing trip to the United States.

In May Jokowi signed a revision to existing mining rules to allow the country’s religious organizations, including Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) and Muhammadiyah to operate mining concessions.

Chairman of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Yahya Staquf, who met with Jokowi while the protest was raging in the capital over the plan to amend the local election, said that in the initial stage, the organization would purchase at least 100 hectares of land in Nusantara where it would build a number of facilities.
