ore and more communication-based apps are providing data-based call features on their platform. The latest one is Slack, which allows users to simply click on the call button located near its icon's name to speak to other users in any channel or group DM.
As reported by The Next Web, the new feature had taken into effect on Wednesday after a series of failures during feature testing.
Available in all forms of its platform, the service also includes a feature named call emoji that, as the name suggests, lets users respond to any incoming call by sending an emoji.
