Mercedes-Benz Indonesia launched two revamped versions of its GLA SUVs on Thursday.

The revamp could be seen in the cars’ exterior, interior and accessories.

The new GLA 200 AMG line comes with an off-road suspension that elevates the car’s body about 30 millimeters higher than the previous model -- a structure that brings new comfort, higher ground clearance and an off-road seating position, kompas.com reported.

Engine-wise, the car utilizes a 2.0L inline-4 turbo machine that creates an output of 115 kW (156 hp) and maximum torque of 250Nm. According to tempo.co, the car is able to accelerate from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 8.1 seconds. It is also equipped with a modified bumper and 19-inch AMG five-spoke alloy wheels.

Meanwhile, the AMG GLA 45 has been revamped with new layout in several parts of the body kit, as well as its interior. The car reportedly utilizes an engine that creates a maximum output of 280 kW (381 hp) and a maximum torque of 475 Nm and has the ability to accelerate from zero to 100 km in 4.4 seconds. It is also equipped with 20-inch multi-spoke light-alloy wheels that are available in two colors.

The GLA 200 AMG and AMG GLA 45 are being sold for Rp 739 million (US$55,564) and Rp 1.299 billion respectively. (mas/kes)
