Indonesia to participate in Twitter's first global video relay

ndonesia's @TravellerKaskus on Twitter will take part in the social media platform's first global video relay on Thursday, as 40 content creators from 10 countries are participating in posting live feed via the hashtag #EveryCharacterMatter.
"#EveryCharacterMatters allows us to show the country's potential to audiences from different countries," Traveller Kaskus said in a statement on Twitter Indonesia's website published on Tuesday.
The travel account will be live at 4 p.m. Jakarta local time, as Indonesia's capital city will be the fifth in line in the relay, following Sydney, Melbourne, Tokyo and Singapore.
Mumbai would come next, followed by Bangalore, Chennai, London, Sao Paulo, Toronto, New York, Mexico City and Denver, before the chain ends in Vancouver.

As a nod to the range of passion and interest of the creators on the social media platform, Twitter announced in a statement that #EveryCharacterMatters will be as diverse as the talent taking part to connect with audiences and communities all over the world through the real-time nature of Twitter and Periscope.
The video relay will range from musicians collaborating with their fans on their next track, creators showing the world what makes their city special, expression about important issues through spoken word, as well as live Q&As.
Twitter is also set to decorate tweets about the creator video relay with a new Twitter emoji whenever users use the hashtag #EveryCharacterMatters. (liz/kes)
