outh Korean group Wanna One is slated to perform for its Indonesian fans on July 15. The concert will take place at Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) in BSD City, Banten.
Antara reports that IME Productions, the promoter of the concert, released a statement today, saying that the concert was part of Wanna One’s world tour. Previously, the boyband held a meet-and-greet with the Wannables (their fans) in Jakarta.
The promoter gave an assurance that the concert would feature spectacular stage and visual effects.
Tickets for the concert will be available online starting May 25 at 2 p.m. from Rp 1.1 million (US$78.3) for “CAT4” seats to Rp 3.5 million for VIP seats.
The 11 members of Wanna One are set to start their tour on June 1, visiting up to 13 cities around the world. Three of the concerts will be held at the Seoul Gocheok Sky Dome.
The band had its debut in an event titled “Wanna One Premier Show-Co” in August 2017. It followed up with the release of the 1x1=1 (To Be One) album featuring the hit song Energetic in the same month. Later in November 2017, it repackaged the album with the title 1-1=0 (Nothing Without You) featuring the track Beautiful.
Total sales of the debut album including the repackaged version positioned Wanna One as the first K-Pop group to sell 1 million copies of its debut album.

The album was released on March 19 featuring the hit song Boomerang.
Due to its strength in branding and marketing, Wanna One reached the top position of the Boy Group Brand Power Ranking issued by the Korean Corporate Reputation Research Institute. (mut)
