Rajakelana is Mondo Gascaro’s first album that was released in 2016 as a way to celebrate his life.
ndonesian-born singer Mondo Gascaro, formerly a member of Indonesian band Sore, is set to release his first vinyl record , Rajakelana,on Record Day, in Japan on Nov. 3.
The production, which is a collaborative effort between Mondo’s Japanese label Production Dessinee and his own recording label Ivy League Music, will be released together with 150 other vinyl records by distinct Japanese artists, including Ryuichi Sakamoto, Tokyo Ska Paradise, and several soundtrack albums from Studio Ghibli.
As reported by kompas.com, Mondo's record, said to be one of the most anticipated albums by music fans in Japan, will be sold for 4,500 yen (US$40).
Rajakelana, first released in 2016, was a way for Mondo to celebrate his life.

Production on the album started in 2014, and since then Mondo has released a few self-written-and-composed singles, which are “Saturday Light”, “Kemorebi” and “A Deacon’s Summer”.
He claimed that the album reflected the flavors of Indonesia because it combined different types of Indonesian music.
The album was released through his own indie label, Ivy League Music. (iru/kes)
