Fusion jazz group Krakatau is set to hold a reunion concert in Ciputra Artpreneur, South Jakarta, on April 30.

The group has been on hiatus for a decade because of the individual activities of its members, Donny Suhendra, Dwiki Darmawan, Gilang Ramadhan, Indra Lesmana, Pra Budi Dharma and Trie Utami.

For the reunion, Krakatau is teaming up with promoter DSS Concert, Alvin Witarsa as orchestra conductor and the Swara Gembira youth community, which will be in charge of art direction.

Called Prithvi Mata after one of the band's songs, the concert will reportedly boast a Balinese concept with a millennial twist, encompassing stage decoration, costume, dance choreography, makeup, as well as hairstyles.

Tickets for the show are available online in four categories, with starting price at Rp 500,000 (US$35.40). (dpk/kes)
