Leica Playground’s 'Nusantara’: A brief trip across the sprawling archipelago

If you don’t have time to visit and experience different cultures across Indonesia, then a short visit to Leica Playground’s Nusantara (Archipelago) photo exhibition could be a good idea. Held at Plaza Senayan in Jakarta, the exhibition showcases 24 photos of enchanting scenery, nature, people and traditions in various part of the country, taken by six photographers – dubbed Leica Ambassadors – using their Leica cameras. The exhibition, organized by Leica Store Jakarta, runs from Aug. 26 until Nov. 17. Half of the photos are displayed inside a large woven rattan installation, providing a unique experience as the visitors have to walk inside the installation to discover the works.
