The homegrown start-up has launched a new suite of digital solutions to help businesses and employees ease into heading back to the office.
a href="https://catapa.com/">CATAPA HR, which provides digital payroll and human resource (HR) management solutions, has launched its new CATAPAatOffice suite of digital solutions, so businesses and employees can stay safe as they return to working at the office under the "new normal" phase of the COVID-19 response.
The suite, which aims to help companies increase productivity while ensuring the safety and comfort of their workers, has four newest features: the CATAPA Safe mobile application, as well as the Mask Detection, Digital Approval and Contactless Attendance digital solutions.
CATAPA Safe is a proximity app that automatically alerts users if they are too close to other people at the office.
The Mask Detection feature uses a company's CCTV cameras to monitor workers' compliance with wearing masks, and directly alerts companies if it spots any employee who is not wearing a mask.
Contactless Attendance utilizes facial recognition technology to track attendance, while the Digital Approval feature provides a paperless, instant approval system to minimize contact with high-touch surfaces.
CATAPA CEO Stefanie Suanita said that businesses and employees needed to adopt new digital working systems that aligned with the COVID-19 health protocols.
The digital solutions company also introduced a separate product line for businesses that were continuing to implement remote working.
Dubbed CATAPAatHome, the series incorporates several features, including a remote attendance "tracker" that detects where employees are at a given time, a mobile processor for managing leave and overtime requests through a chatbot, and the One-Click Payroll management system.
CATAPA Safe is available for Android phones on Google Play Store.
Established in April 2017 with an initial focus on payroll systems, CATAPA has expanded to provide an integrated suite of digital HR solutions for companies. (wir/wng)
