n the wake of an accidental shooting incident that left a cinematographer dead on the set of the western movie Rust, Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin has remained tight-lipped and has not granted any interviews to major media networks in the United States.
Yet, due to a scheduling coincidence, Baldwin was scheduled to give an exclusive interview to the Jakarta-based streaming service Mola TV, where he would sit down with host Dino Patti Djalal, former Indonesian ambassador to the US.
A source from Mola TV said that interviews with guests were usually planned between two or three months before taping and the schedule with Baldwin had been locked down long before the shooting incident.
Dino himself posted a statement on social media saying that his interview with Baldwin would be aired on Oct. 28, adding that the program "would be interesting."
Mola TV, however, did not broadcast the interview at the time at it was scheduled.
Dino has landed several interviews in the past with some of the biggest names in Hollywood including actors Robert De Niro and Sharon Stone and African-American director Spike Lee. All of the interviews were broadcast live.
Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins died last week after Baldwin apparently shot her with the Colt .45 he was pointing at a camera during filming of the low-budget Rust in New Mexico.
