PT PAL Indonesia has forged ahead to advance its human resources and yard facilities to build better warships in recent years, with current projects concentrated on manufacturing two Perusak Kawal Rudal (PKR), or guided-missile frigates, with a Dutch shipbuilder and three submarines with a South Korean company, all procured by the Indonesian Navy.
