The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has uncovered more alleged corruption at the Constitutional Court, one of the highest judicial institutions in the country, with the arrest of Patrialis Akbar, one of the nine justices of the court, on Wednesday evening.

His arrest was related to a judicial review on Law No. 41/2014 on animal husbandry and health, which was being handled by the court.

KPK deputy chairperson Basaria Panjaitan said Patrialis had allegedly accepted bribes of US$20,000 and S$200,000 from three businessmen from a beef importing company.
