Indonesia will hold the simultaneous general elections on April 17, 2019. Voters will not only cast their votes for their president and vice president but also for members of the House of Representatives (DPR) and the Regional Representatives Council (DPD).
The ballot papers in the polling booths will provide five colors of ballots: the grey color is for president and vice president, yellow for DPR, red for DPD, blue for provincial-level Regional Legislative Council (DPRD) and green for municipality/mayoralty-level DPRD.
The General Elections Commission (KPU) has officially prepared the logistics for the elections on Sunday (Jan. 20, 2019). The printing process took place simultaneously in three provinces of Jakarta, East Java and South Sulawesi.
The total printed ballots for the elections reached 939,879,651 ballot papers and the printing process would take place for 60 days under the monitoring of the KPU, the Elections Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) and the police. [yan]
