The annual contemporary art fair Art Jakarta 2019 was officially opened on Aug. 30. Taking place in hall A and B of the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) in Central Jakarta. This is the first time the fair is being held in a new venue. Director of Art Jakarta Tom Tandio said the venue has helped it to display more artworks, including massive ones. It also features 70 galleries comprising 40 international galleries and 30 local galleries. (JP/Wienda Parwitasari)
