Instead of enforcing a lockdown or other restrictions, Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo is letting local leaders and residents come up with their own measures to contain the spread of COVID-19. The governor discussed his community-based initiative (locally known as Jogo Tonggo) and the province’s other efforts to tackle the virus in a video interview with The Jakarta Post on June 26.
