A video that has gone viral shows students from Tobo village in East Seram, Maluku, crossing a raging river delta on their way to school. The students also have to make an extreme trek to study in the neighboring village. The COVID-19 outbreak in Indonesia has only increased the obstacles for these students and has put the spotlight on infrastructure and education gaps in the country.
