Bank Indonesia issued a commemorative banknote to mark 75 years of Indonesia’s independence on Monday. The note, which has a face value of Rp 75,000 (US$5.09) features the pictures of the country’s founding fathers, flagship infrastructure projects as well as children donning traditional clothes.
The design aims to reflect Indonesia’s achievements in 75 years and hopes for future generations.
