President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo announced that COVID-19 vaccines would be available without cost for Indonesian citizens. He had instructed all Cabinet ministers and regional administrations to prioritize the vaccination program in their 2021 budgets. Jokowi will also be the first Indonesian to get a COVID-19 vaccine.
