JAKARTA: The life of Nadine Chandrawinata, winner of the 2005 Puteri Indonesia beauty pageant, is all about traveling.

Two new films starring the 26- year-old that enable her to explore new and beautiful places, not only in Indonesia but also in Nepal, are set to be released in April.

The first film, The Mirror Never Lies, features the fascinating underwater life of Wakatobi, Southeast Sulawesi.

“I have been promoting the beauty of the local underwater world for two years, so why not make a movie about it as well?” she said as quoted by kompas.com on Monday.

Nadine, who enjoys diving, is also the producer of the movie.

In the second movie, Sagar Mata, Nadine plays a budget tourist in Nepal.

Besides the films, Nadine also plans to become a host for a TV program that will showcase many beautiful islands in Indonesia.

She is also in the process of writing a book about travel. — JP
