stone building, believed to be an old temple, has been found in the border area between Koto Tapus and Tanjung villages, Sungai Tenang district Merangin regency, Jambi.
'We don't know if the building, which looks to be centuries old, is a temple, fortress or tomb,' regency Development and Planning Board (Bappeda) head M. Arif said on Thursday.
Arif said Bappeda had discovered the old building, which stands on four hectares of land, after information from the public. 'The site is a two-hour walk two from the nearest village.'
