AKARTA: It was all about batik and Indonesian food at the first birthday party of Arsy Addara Musicia Nur Hermansyah, the daughter of musician couple Anang Hermansyah and Ashanty.
The party was held at the Mercantile Athletic Club, WTC, in Central Jakarta on Thursday. 'The theme is Batik Princess, so our family and all the invitees wear batik,' Ashanty, clad in a pink-brown batik dress and silver headpiece, told tribunnews.com.
The birthday girl, Arsy, wore a pink batik dress and silver headband, while Anang sported a pink batik shirt.
'We serve cubit cake, meatballs, gulali candy and other Indonesian food,' she added.
Among the attendees were actors Luna Maya, Titi Kamal, Gading Marten, presenter Olla Ramlan and Kotak rock band vocalist, Tantri.
Anang said that they held the batik-themed party to introduce Arsy to the nation's culture at an early age.
