chmad Yani International Airport in Semarang, Central Java, reopened at 7:41 a.m. on Monday after being temporarily closed following an accident involving a Wings Air plane on Sunday.
“With the reopening, the normal flight schedule has resumed,” airport spokesman Agus Subagio said on Monday as reported by kompas.com.

However, Agus called on all relevant parties to remain alert and to provide a good service to passengers.
“There are potential delays as a result of shifting slots because of the temporary closure earlier,” he said.
The airport was closed after the plan, operated by the subsidiary Lion Air, overshot the runway as it landed in heavy rain and strong wind.
The plane has been moved to the airport’s Apron F to allow officers from the National Transportation Safety Commission (KNKT) to investigate the accident.
The aircraft’s black box has been removed and will be examined to determine the cause of the accident.
The ART 72-600 plane, arriving from Bandung, West Java, was carrying 68 passengers and four flight crew members. All of the passengers and crew were safely evacuated from the plane. (jun)
