akarta deputy governor-elect Sandiaga Uno has appointed his brother, Indra Uno, to be the chairman of his entrepreneurship training program known as One District One Center of Entrepreneurship (OK OCE).
“[The OK OCE team] has begun to disseminate information about the team, which is led by Indra Uno,” said Jakarta Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Agency head Irwandi on Tuesday, as quoted by wartakotalive.com.
Indra is a businessman and academic. He obtained his doctoral degree from the University of Indonesia’s School of Economics.
OK OCE, which is one of the priority programs of governor-elect Anies Baswedan and Sandiaga, is set to be implemented on Monday after the inauguration of the city’s new leaders.
Irwandi said the program had been listed in the 2017 revised city budget with an allocation of Rp 1.5 billion (US$111,000).
“In the revised budget, the OK OCE is included under the entrepreneurship training program,” Irwandi said.
OK OCE is designed to create 200,000 new entrepreneurs. As of May, Sandiaga said, it already had 15,000 members who would receive training in centers in 44 subdistricts. (wnd)
