nline booking site Tiket.com is expecting to increase its ticket and tour package sales by 250 percent during Ramadhan this year, which will begin on May 15, compared to the same period last year.
Tiket.com chief marketing officer and co-founder Gaery Undarsa said the biggest contribution was expected to derive from flight ticket sales.
"About 60 percent will comprise flight tickets, while the remaining 20 percent will come from train tickets and another 20 percent from hotel reservations,” he said on Friday as quoted by Kontan.co.id.

“We hope that sales until June can climb by 250 percent compared to [the fasting month] last year,” Gaery said.
In order to hike sales, Tiket.com is offering various promotions, such as free food and drinks in airports for flight ticket purchases, as well as other discounts. (lnd)
