ransjakarta officer Nafizh Sibrol Malitsi, who was allegedly physically assaulted by two motorists on Monday, has reported the incident to the Kebayoran Baru Police in South Jakarta.

The alleged assault happened on Monday at around 2:45 a.m. on a Transjakarta bus lane in Blok M, where two private cars–a black Daihatsu Gran Max and a black Nissan–were seen blocking the road.

Nafizh, who was working on the Bianglala Metropolitan (BMP) 104 late-night bus, got off the bus to tell the cars’ drivers to make room for the bus, but to no avail.

Instead, the drivers reportedly approached Nafizh and hit him in the face before leaving the scene shortly after.

“We have reported the incident to the Kebayoran Baru Police,” Transjakarta spokesperson Wibowo said. (vny)
