hai-American model Dana Slosar was crowned the winner of Asia’s Next Top Model (ASNTM) Cycle 6, walking away with the top prize following a nail-biting finale on Wednesday.
In the modeling competition slash reality show’s final, she was pitted against remaining contestants — Adele-Mae Marshall from the Philippines and Mia Sabathy from Taiwan.
Slosar said going into the competition, she felt so proud to be able to represent her country, Thailand.
“The most important lesson I’ve learned from this experience is that, whatever challenges life brings you, concentrate on the reasons you could succeed rather than the reasons you might fail,” she said in a statement from FOX Life on Thursday.
Premiering Aug. 22 on FOX Life, the show gathered 14 female contestants, including two from Indonesia, Iko Bustomi and Jesslyn Lim. The show’s Cycle 6 took place in Bangkok.
ASNTM is based on supermodel Tyra Banks’ wildly successful America’s Next Top Model, which has spawned over 30 international versions and propelled numerous new models into the competitive industry.
