inger Tompi, who is also a plastic surgeon, has accepted an apology from politician Fahri Hamzah over a Twitter spat they had recently over the Ratna Sarumpaet hoax case.

The spat began when Tompi, as a plastic surgeon, concluded that the bruises on the face of Ratna, who is a vocal opposition activist, were the result of plastic surgery rather than physical assault as claimed by Ratna and her fellow activist friends, including Fahri.

Fahri believed otherwise and he confronted Tompi on Twitter. He questioned Tompi’s opinion as he knew that Tompi is not a photo nor a digital forensics expert. The dispute continued from there.

Eventually, Tompi was proven to be right after the police found out that Ratna had undergone plastic surgery, which had caused the bruises.

Fahri recently apologized to Tompi on stage.
