Prabowo, Sandiaga take post-election trips abroad

Presidential challenger Prabowo Subianto appears to be taking some time off from the post-election brouhaha, as he has left the country to go on what his aides described as a trip concerning personal matters. The trip comes as Prabowo and running mate Sandiaga Uno await the progress of the camp’s legal challenge against the General Elections Commission’s (KPU) final vote tally, which confirmed incumbent Joko “Jokowi” Widodo’s reelection victory, at the Constitutional Court. The Gerindra Party chairman made his departure on Tuesday morning from Jakarta’s Halim Perdanakusuma airport to Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, where he made a transit stop before flying to Vienna, his close aides confirmed.
