anial Williams continues his impressive run in mixed martial arts (MMA). After defeating former ONE strawweight world champion Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke via a knockout, the Perth resident dominated Namiki Kawahara last week at ONE 156.
After a thrilling three-round battle, the 28-year-old Australian earned a nod from three judges to push his professional MMA record to 5-1, including two wins in ONE Championship global stage.
And now, the fighter who has also spent years competing in Muay Thai, names two potential opponents in different sports for his upcoming fights in ONE.
In MMA, he is eyeing a fight against fifth-ranked strawweight contender Jeremy Miado, who is on a roll with three consecutive stoppage victories. Stylistically, Williams believes their encounter will produce nothing but a back-and-forth action.
“I just like his style. I’m here to put on a show for the fans. The fans want to see action. I’m here to put on a show for the fans, and Miado is going to be the guy who’s going to give it to me,” Williams said about the Filipino.

The man, also known as “Mini T”, is also interested in challenging ONE strawweight Muay Thai world champion Prajanchai PK.Saenchai.
Currently, Prajanchai is scheduled to defend his belt against first-ranked contender Joseph Lasiri at ONE 157: Petchmorakot vs. Vienot on May 20. After that, Williams is looking for a possibility to go toe-to-toe with the Thai inside the Circle.
“I’d love to fight Prajanchai for the World Title. I reckon that will be sick, just two crazy strikers. I don’t think anyone in the top five in Muay Thai would, sort of, give him a big challenge. If I could just pick one fight, that will probably be it.”
