fter scoring convincing finishes in their bouts at ONE 158: Tawanchai vs. Larsen on June 3, both Tawanchai PK Saenchai and Fabricio Andrade made significant jumps in the rankings of their respective divisions.
Thai striking phenom Tawanchai claimed the top spot in ONE Championship's featherweight Muay Thai rankings after his dominant performance against Niclas Larsen in the evening’s main event. The 23-year-old scored a second-round finish of his Danish rival after working him around the Circle circle for much of their bout.
Tawanchai moved up four places from his previous position, and he now waits to challenge featherweight Muay Thai king Petchmorakot Petchyindee.
Andrade’s win at ONE 158 shook up the bantamweight mixed martial arts (MMA) division and moved him up to the number two spot in the rankings of the stacked division – a position previously held by his opponent on the night, Kwon Won Il.
"Wonder Boy” needed only 62 seconds to take his South Korean rival down in their hotly anticipated matchup. The Brazilian star asserted his dominance from the opening bell and sent Kwon to the canvas with a devastating kick to the liver just after the one-minute mark.

The only person ahead of “Wonder Boy” now is Bibiano Fernandes, who lost the bantamweight belt to John Lineker at ONE: LIGHTS OUT in March.
Never shy of having his voice heard, Andrade took advantage of his post-fight interview to call out Lineker in the hopes of getting a shot at the new world champion’s belt.
Whether he will get his chance remains to be seen, but fans can expect him to keep calling for it now that he’s close to the top of the mountain.
