emetrious Johnson defeated divisional-king Adriano Moraes in their long-awaited rematch at ONE Fight Night 1 on Aug. 27 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, not only earning redemption, but also the ONE Flyweight World Title.
After an incredible back-and-forth, the first-ranked contender in Johnson upped the pressure and sought to finish “Mikinho”, which he managed to do with a right hand and flying knee in the fourth round. “Mighty Mouse” also earned a US$50,000 bonus for his performance.
ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nong-O Gaiyanghadao defeated the fifth-ranked bantamweight Muay Thai contender Liam Harrison in the first round with damaging leg kicks.
"Hitman" was unable to answer the referee's eight-count, losing the fight via technical knockout. Not only did the World Champion retain his belt, but he also received a $50,000 bonus for the spectacular finish.
