A year after the implementation of an integrated online single submission system for business licensing, businesspeople claim they have yet to benefit from the system as it is just as or even more complicated than the old one and costs more.
The government issued a regulation late last year to make more investors eligible for tax holidays, but applicants are unable to avail themselves of the incentive as the online single submission (OSS) system is not ready to accommodate their request.
