A recent survey conducted by the Coalition for Safe Public Space (KRPA) reveals that public transportation is the second-most dangerous public place for women, with the frequency of sexual harassment only less than often than that which occurs on the street.
A visually impaired man named Fazlur Rahman staged a solo protest in front of the Transportation Ministry office in Central Jakarta demanding better treatment for people with disabilities on public transportation after he accidentally fell through a platform gap when trying to board a train at Cikini Station, Central Jakarta, on Nov 17.
