nline ticket booking site Tiket.com launched an international flight route service on Monday, allowing its customers to book flights to more than 18,000 destinations abroad.
In addition to Garuda Indonesia, the company now offers international routes from Singapore Airlines, Emirates, Etihad Airways, Cathay Pacific, EVA Air, Malaysia Airlines, Qantas Airways, American Airlines, China Airlines, Air Niugini, China Southern Airlines, Hong Kong Airlines, Royal Brunei Airlines and SriLankan Airlines.

Tiket.com co-founder and chief communication officer Gaery Undarsa said the new service aimed to attract more customers to book tickets on the company's single platform. "We expect international flight routes to contribute 40 percent to Tiket.com's flight bookings," he added.
In addition to the new service, the company also offers a "round trip deals" of up to 10 percent discount for return ticket bookings for international flights of the same airlines. It also provides a Rp 300,000 (US$23.03) rebate for those booking Garuda Indonesia international flights. (kes)
