ow-cost carrier AirAsia X Indonesia is set to fly nonstop from Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar, Bali, to the Narita International Airport in Tokyo, Japan.
Slated to commence on May 24, the flights will be available four times a week.
The airline will deploy a fleet of Airbus A330-300 with a passenger capacity of 377 seats, including 12 premium flatbed seats.

In conjunction with the launch, the airline is offering promotional prices starting from Rp 1,190,000 (US$89) for economy class and Rp 4,390,000 for premium flatbed. The promotional price is available on the airline’s website and mobile app until April 9.
“Currently, Japan produces the third largest number of foreign tourists visiting Bali. We see that there is a constant growth every year,” AirAsia X Indonesia CEO Captain Sulistyo Nugroho Hanung said in a press release.
He also said the new route would support the government in achieving its target of attracting 20 million tourists by 2019. (asw)
