he South Sumatra provincial administration is making use of the Bali & Beyond Travel Fair (BBTF) 2017 in Nusa Dua, Bali, to promote its own events, the 2018 Asian Games and MotoGP 2018.
During the BBTF 2017 opening ceremony on June 8, South Sumatra Governor H. Alex Noerdin used the opportunity to present the tourism potential as well as project developments in the province.

The province is currently busy preparing for the Asian Games 2018 and MotoGP 2018.
“We need to upgrade and add more facilities for the 2018 Asian Games,” said Alex.
Moreover, the governor has launched a strategy for a partnership with international federations to hold continuous events so that the venues won’t lie abandoned after the 2018 Asian Games.

The BBTF 2017, which runs from June 7 to 11 marks the fourth staging of the event. The travel fair is hosting 230 buyers from 55 countries and 179 sellers.
Throughout the exhibition, South Sumatra Asian Games committee has its own booth where it will promote the games and socialize with visitors. (kes)
