ight Korean bloggers and media companies are currently participating in a familiarization trip to Yogyakarta, Magelang and Solo from Nov. 29 to Dec. 4.
The group recently went for an off-road Lava Tour Merapi trip.
“This is an exciting and unforgettable trip. It’s so fun. There’s an amazing feeing that we got when we went up to see the Merapi area that has been destroyed by lava a few years ago,” said Korean Youtuber Lee Woorin.
“The Jeep driver took us to ride across the river and challenging roads; we were shaken inside the off-road Jeep car. What an exciting and fun location,” added Woorin.
Throughout their trip, the group saw the result of Merapi eruption, from Kinahrejo village that has been destroyed to abandoned houses, volcanic sand, gravel and rock.

On their way home, they traveled past the Kali Kuning river.
After this trip, the group will go to the Prambanan Temple, the Borobudur Temple, Kraton (royal palace) Yogyakarta and Kraton Solo. (kes)
