atik Air, a subsidiary of Indonesia's largest low-cost carrier Lion Air, inaugurated a dedicated lounge at Lombok International Airport in Praya, West Nusa Tenggara, on Friday.
A collaboration between the airline and state-owned airport operator Angkasa Pura I (AP I), the Batik Premium Gate is said to be the first and only dedicated lounge at the airport as Batik Air aims at providing the best service and improve passengers' comfort while waiting for their flight.

The 1,087-square-meter space situated on the departure terminal's third floor will be available for the carrier's economy and business passengers, as well as Batik Frequent Flyer members, according to a statement. It is said to be able to accommodate 256 people and feature facilities like Wi-Fi, a prayer room, televisions and Concordia Lounge managed by AP I's subsidiary Angkasa Pura Hotels, which boasts various food and beverage outlets.
"Hopefully, this service will improve passengers' experience before flying as we are committed to a pre-flight, in-flight and post-flight service concept," said Batik Air CEO captain Achmad Luthfie in a statement.
Batik Air serves daily routes from Lombok International Airport to Jakarta's Halim Perdanakusuma and Soekarno-Hatta airports. (kes)
