Formally called the New York Declaration on the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution, the text states "Hamas must free all hostages" and that the UN General Assembly condemns "the attacks committed by Hamas against civilians on the 7th of October."

"[Palestine] is a country, it is a nation, I will be representing an actual country," insisted Nadeen Ayoub, the first Palestinian to compete in Miss Universe.

Indonesia has reaffirmed its support for Qatar and called for diplomatic efforts toward a just and lasting peace in the Middle East based on a two-state solution.

An Indonesian Military (TNI) humanitarian mission dropped 10 tonnes of aid of food and other basic necessities over Gaza on Aug. 19, marking the second airdrop of humanitarian support in the war-torn enclave.
