Speaking on stage at an investment conference in Riyadh, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud said Israeli actions in northern Gaza could only be described as a form a genocide that was feeding a cycle of violence.

Indonesia has strongly condemned the Israeli parliament's decision to ban the United Nations agency responsible for aiding Palestinian refugees, UNRWA, from working in Israel, in a new law that could effectively cripple its work in war-torn Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territory in East Jerusalem.

After Iran's missile attack on Israel on Oct. 1, there has been speculation that Israel could strike Iran's nuclear facilities, as it has long threatened to do.

Netanyahu's refusal to halt the offensive came as the United States ramped up pressure on Israel, criticizing the bombing of Beirut and urging more aid access for Gazans.
