emember Chef, the 2014 movie by Jon Favreau featuring stars from Sofia Vergara to Robert Downey Jr? If you do, then you will never forget the sensational Cuban sandwich. The mouth-watering meal has a complicated history, but Chef introduced it to the world in the most delicious way possible.

The size, ingredients and even the appearance of Cuban sandwiches are appealing. Consisting of Cuban bread, ham, roasted pork, Swiss cheese, pickles, mustard and sometimes salami, the charm of a Cuban sandwich will hypnotize you even if you have never seen one. It made us wonder, what it is actually like to eat one?

Big Bad Wolf Sandwich

 

The Big Bad Wolf Sandwich truck usually hangs around Lippo Mall Puri in West Jakarta, and it's true that their collection of sandwiches is amazing. Self-acclaimed as the food truck serving the best BBQ pulled pork sandwiches in town, Big Bad Wolf also offers a Cuban sandwich for about Rp 40,000 (US$3). The price is worth it for the big sandwich. There's nothing wrong with having a meal in a bar, at least when you're at Lola. According to Lola, its Cubano sandwich is filled with controversy and rich in flavor.
