etflix just released its list of the most binge-watched TV shows and here are some of them from the genre of “drama comedy”.
Nurse Jackie
Number of seasons: 7
The series revolves around the life of Jackie Peyton, a talented nurse who is also a drug addict. Even though she cheats on her husband, lies to her family and friends and steals, Jackie still has a kindness in her, especially when she decides to protect what’s important to her: her family and friends and her job. The six-time Primetime Emmy Awards winner stars Edie Falco, Peter Facinelli and Paul Schulze.
Orange is the New Black
Number of seasons: 4
The series follows Piper Chapman, a woman in her 30s who is suddenly sent to an all-women’s prison due to an unlawful act in the past. In prison, she connects with fellow inmates while struggling to maintain a long distance relationship with her fiancé. Created by Jenji Kohan, Orange is the New Black was nominated for an Emmy Award last year. The fourth season will be aired on Netflix this month.

Weeds
Number of seasons: 8
Weeds shares the life of Californian single mother Nancy Botwin who sells marijuana to support her family after her husband’s death. The series contains dark comedy that is well-played by Mary-Louise Parker, a Golden Globe Award winner, as Nancy Botwin. Also created by Jenji Kohan, the woman behind Orange is the New Black, Weeds stars Justin Kirk, Hunter Parrish, Alexander Gould and Kevin Nealon.
Flaked
Number of seasons: 1
Emmy-nominated actor Will Arnett, who also starred in Arrested Development, is the writer, producer and co-creator of this comedy series. The story focuses on the life of Chip, a recovering alcoholic who seems fine on the surface until he falls in love with London, a new bartender. Flaked stars Ruth Kearney, David Sullivan and Lina Esco.
Grace & Frankie
Number of seasons: 2
This series follows the lives of two enemies: Grace and Frances, also known as Frankie. Both of them have to work together after their husbands admit that they have fallen for each other and want to leave their wives. Created by Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris, Grace & Frankie features some big talent including by Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Sam Waterston and Martin Sheen. (kes)
