here's a fairly new trend in town that’s already spread through some areas of Indonesia called bakso keju (meatballs with cheese filling). The idea of combining traditional bakso and cheese is surreal, but when you taste it, bakso keju adds something that has been missing from the perfectness of bakso.

Bakso keju tastes creamy and it fits in very well in a bowl of warm bakso soup. Care to try? These are a few places in Jakarta where you can savor the dish.

Bakso Atom

Bakso Atom is available everywhere and is thus easy to find. It also has various bakso dishes, including bakso keju. And yet, Bakso Atom still offers bakso with an affordable price and delicious taste.

Coming all the way from Bandung, Bakso Boedjangan has opened its first Jakarta outlet in Kelapa Gading. All the hard work pays off though, as Bakso Boedjangan doesn't lose its charm and is still a favorite. Using innovative strategies to attract a young crowd, it is worth a visit whenever you're in the North Jakarta area.

Bakso 2 Nyonya really know what they're doing by promoting bakso everywhere on social media platforms like Instagram. No wonder, food bloggers are among its fans in Jakarta. Bakso 2 Nyonya offers the incredible various tastes of bakso, including spicy bakso rawit and creamy bakso keju.
