ollowing its debut in the US, Australia and New Zealand last week, the oh-so popular augmented-reality game Pokemon Go is set to be launched in Europe and Asia “within a few days”, according to The Verge.
The game developer, Niantic Labs, initially planned to release the game in the UK and Netherlands but later postponed it following issues with servers due to the game's unexpected wide popularity. This is probably also why the game has not yet been officially released in other countries aside from those aforementioned, including Indonesia.

Following the craze over the game, it quickly became the most downloadable app on Google Play as well as App Store. The success has also helped raise the stock price of Japan-based gaming company Nintendo by up to 25 percent.
Using a smartphone camera and GPS, players can catch Pokemon characters in real locations such as historical monuments, mosques, police stations and other unexpected places. The game is available for free on both Android and iOS devices. (kes)
