new line of beverages has stolen the online spotlight over the past 24 hours, as Italian winemaker Torti Winery joined forces with Japanese stationery retailer Sanrio in launching the Hello Kitty wine line.

The Hello Kitty wine collection consists of six different wines, including the limited edition Sweet Pink sparkling rosé, Cupido sparkling white wine, Rosé, Rosé Collection, Charmy and Lady.

The Sweet Pink rosé is packaged in a special bottle with gold-painted hearts impressed in its glass, while the Cupido is packaged in a classic sparkling wine bottle, representing the masculine dry notes amid its fruity dominance.

The Rosé wine packaging is surprisingly plain, which is the differentiating factor between it and the Rosé Collection, which features a special Hello Kitty pendant with the Italian flag.

For more practical and market-ready packaging, the Hello Kitty Charmy and Lady wines appear to be more industrial, although still on the cutesy side with pink labelling bearing Hello Kitty’s adorable form.

Aside from details about wine processing and serving and pairing suggestions, information is yet to be released on how customers can purchase  Hello Kitty wines and how much they will cost. However, the LA Times reported that anyone who is curious can try the rosé and white Hello Kitty wines as they are being sold by the glass at Antonello restaurant in California. The wine, of course, is only served to those over 21 years of age.
