ollowing the release of Marvel superhero series Luke Cage, US-based internet television broadcaster Netflix has introduced Iron Fist, a new show based on a fictional Marvel character.
Slated to premiere on March 17, 2017, the show follows Danny Rand, a billionaire-cum-martial arts expert who returns to New York to fight bad guys. He later encounters his long-destined enemy and has to choose between reclaiming his family legacy or fighting villains.

Starring Finn Jones, Iron Fist will be the fourth Marvel series to broadcast on Netflix. Prior to Luke Cage, the network presented Daredevil and Jessica Jones.
According to CNET, the four characters will soon unite in another series next year dubbed The Defenders, also available on Netflix. (kes)
