pple fans have something to get excited about amid rumors that the tech company is set to launch its new MacBook Pro around the end of October.

According to The Verge, the upcoming product will no longer have regular USB ports (USB-A), nor the signature MagSafe charging connector. Instead, it is believed to feature USB-C type and Thunderbolt 3 ports, as well as a flatter keyboard and a "dynamic function row", which is a touchscreen OLED strip that will replace the function keys in the top row.

Reports also suggested that the company would at the same time launch the latest version of its MacBook Air, which is expected to no longer offer an 11-inch display option, but only a 13-inch one. Like the MacBook Pro, it is set to be equipped with USB-C ports rather than the traditional USB ports. (fmn/kes)
