ans of Taiwanese boy band F4 can rejoice as Celestial Movies is set to air Detective Gui, a movie in which Vic Chou, one of the group members, stars.

Slated to premier on the channel on March 19, Detective Gui is a suspense comedy drama movie. The story follows a woman detective Gui Xiang (Wang Loudan). Gui is said to be a gifted detective who has helped police to solve cases since the tender age of 10. Despite her brilliant mind, Gui has no social skills.

A recent murder in her neighborhood leads Gui to meet A Zhe (Chou), a handsome police officer. As the two characters meet, viewers can see the romance rising.

Directed by Oxide Pang, Detective Gui was released in China in August 2015. Following Detective Gui, Chou has also starred in several movies, including Go Lala Go 2, S Strom II and Perfect Couple.

Chou was first recognized after playing the role of Hua Ce Lei in the iconic Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden, which aired in Taiwan in 2001. With the other three actors, Jerry Yan, Ken Chu and Vanness Wu, they became known as F4. (asw)
