oko "Jokowi" Widodo's daughter Kahiyang Ayu is set to marry fiancé Bobby Affif Nasution in November, and the President’s eldest son, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, who owns a catering business, is gearing up to serve the upcoming wedding with his specialty dish.
"One of the dishes that would be served is martabak," Gibran said on Thursday, as quoted by tempo.co.
The 30-year-old entrepreneur is no stranger to the popular Indonesian pancake, as he also owns cafe Martabak Kota Barat, or Markobar, in several cities across Indonesia.
Both martabak manis (sweet pancakes) and martabak telur (stuffed fried pancake) would be served at the wedding.
As many as 300 and 250 plates of martabak manis and martabak telur, respectively, are to be served for lunch and dinner, bringing the total number of martabak to be served throughout the day to 1,100 plates.

The pancake delights will be prepared on location.
"Guests will be able to see the cooking process," Gibran added.
Kahiyang became engaged in June to Bobby, whom she met at the Bogor Institute of Agriculture (IPB), where they are currently studying.
Bobby is the son of the late Erwin Nasution, former executive director of state-owned plantation holding company PT Perkebunan Nusantara II.
The wedding reception is set to take place on Nov. 8 at the Graha Sabha Buana Hall, near Jokowi's private home in downtown Surakarta, Central Java. Thousands of guests are expected to attend the wedding.
In a press conference hosted by Jokowi and his family at the president's private residence in Surakarta last month, Gibran said that the media would be given access to the ceremony and he would set up a media center for the event. (liz/kes)
